In the 80's my mother brought me to our hometown pizzeria where an 18" Cheese pizza was enough for my siblings and me to eat and play video games together. When the game Tetris came out it was a favorite between my mother and me. Through family and friends, I was brought up in the same pizzeria and worked and eventually managed it over the course of 5 years. After moving to the Twin Cities, I began planning to open my own pizza shop named after my mother's Italian family, known to the small town of Port Townsend WA as DeLeo's. My Grandpa and Grandma DeLeo left a legacy of family traditions, and I hope to not only continue that in my own family but maybe inspire traditions for families in the Twin Cities to sit around the table and eat great pizza and create family memories.
